Nigeria: Guinness leads gainers at Exchange
Guinness Nigeria Plc has posted a gain of N5.03 to close higher at N110 pershare, as it traded 345,919 units of shares valued at N36.8 million in 128 deals May 26, The Tide posted May 31.
The breweries subsector company which appear on the subsector chart taking second position with 1.15 million units of shares valued at N116.4 million in 528 deals, though, the subsector chart was led by Nigerian Breweries Plc recording 6.2 million units of shares valued at N206.2 million in 1,382 deals.
The Food/Beverages and Tobacco subsector company at the exchange recorded highest transaction by volume with 2.56 million units of shares valued at N86.6 million in 405 deals, followed by Cadbury Nigerian Plc with 1.23 million units of share valued at N66.8 million in 553
